Off-roading at the sand dunes around Lake Koocanusa is seasonal AND dependent on lake levels. This option may not be available much of the year and you will be able to ride the incredible mountain trails in the Whitefish or Salish Mountan ranges between Whitefish and Eureka.

Must be 25+ to rent and drive with valid license and present license at time of rental.
Age 10+ requirement to be a passenger
Must wear an outer layer consisting of: Long pants, Long sleeves, Close-Toed Shoes. No exceptions.
Price does NOT include replacement Fuel or State Recreational Use Permit. $20 for group up to 6 via MT State website purchased in advance OR $15/pp day-of
All rentals are rain or shine, we do not cancel for 'bad weather'. We reserve the right to cancel for dangerous weather conditions at our discretion

Is prior off-road experience required to take this Can-Am X3 tour in Montana?

While prior off-road experience is not mandatory, it is recommended. Basic driving skills and understanding of off-road vehicle handling are beneficial for a safe and enjoyable experience. Our team provides a brief orientation before the tour to familiarize riders with the Can-Am X3 and its features.

Where do we meet for this tour?

The meeting point is in Olney, MT about 25 minutes north of Whitefish. You'll be sent an exact address in your bookng voucher.

How long is a half-day vs. full-day rental?

Half-day rentals allow for 3 hours of ride time while full days will be up to 6 hours of ride time. The half-day is perfect if you're just looking experience these incredible machines and enjoy some beautiful views and adrenaline. The full-day allows you time to explore more terrain and relax along the way.
