Set in the tranquil Stillwater Canyon—home to over 30 established routes—you’ll climb amidst forested cliffs of green argillite and the soothing sounds of the Stillwater River.

Your guide will craft the outing around your group’s goals and experience level. Learn climbing fundamentals like knot-tying, belaying, and movement on rock. If you’ve climbed before, take it further with technique refinements and new challenges. The experience is entirely private and paced just for you.

Is rock climbing in Montana safe?
Rock climbing with our certified guides is safe. Like any sport, rock climbing has risks, but if you go with professionals and treat it with respect you can climb safely without expecting large falls or injuries.
How old does my child need to be to rock climb?

Ages 5 and up are welcome! However, if you have kids in the 5-7 range, the half day climb is probably the best option for attention and all around happiness for the fam. :)

Do you provide transportation to the climbing site?
You are responsible for your own transportation to the climb site.
Do you provide Transportation?

We do not provide transportation from your accommodation. Instead, you'll meet us at the trail, which is roughly 30-40 minutes north of Whitefish.
