From the trailhead, you'll spend approximately 6 hours exploring groomed forest trails and frozen lakes and streams. Led by knowledgeable local guides, the guided route is designed for the perfect mix of scenic cruising and exciting riding—perfect for first‑timers and experienced riders alike.
Each snowmobile comfortably seats two people, allowing drivers to take the lead while passengers can hold on and enjoy the views. Along the way, your guide will help you scout for local wildlife tracks, highlight the landscape’s winter ecology, and stop at a scenic overlook for photos and a hot drink. Safety is our top priority: all gear, helmets, and permits are included, and groups are kept small so guides can tailor the pace to your comfort level.

The meeting point is located near downtown Whitefish. From the meeting point, you will need to arrange your own transportation to the Swift Creek Trailhead.
What is the duration of the tour?
The tour is approximately 7 hours total, including check‑in, safety briefing, travel to the trailhead, and about 6 hours of riding.
Is there an age or weight limit?
Drivers must be 18+. Passengers should be strong enough to sit securely; small children (under ~7) are not recommended. Two‑seat snowmobiles have a combined weight limit of 350 lbs.
Do I need prior experience?
No prior experience is required. Guides provide instruction for first‑time riders and tailor the pace to the group’s comfort.
What should I wear and bring?
Dress in warm layers, waterproof outerwear, insulated boots, goggles, and gloves. Please bring your driver's license. Goggles and gloves are NOT included but are available for purchase in-store.
