Snowshoe Tour in Glacier National Park

--

Ready to get into the side country of the Whitefish Range in pursuit of those white, fluffy lines? This tour offers the ultimate backcountry ski adventure in Whitefish. Experienced skiers and split boarders are welcome. We'll use the lifts at Whitefish Mountain Resort to access out-of-bounds terrain, seeking out powder lines and off-piste skiing.

This is ideal for someone who has their own backcountry ski or splitboard equipment (skis, boots, board, poles), but looking for a guide to help them safely discover the many hidden gems around. Avalanche safety gear such as beacon, shovel, and probe may be rented at an additional cost.

Your guide will meet you at the base of the resort to create a game plan for the day. Ride the lifts up then head into the backcountry to ski down great lines. Then, skin back up to other descent points or to lifts that can help you gain more vertical before heading back out there.

Get an incredible workout, and discover new backcountry lines that most people will never get to experience. Just want a half-day? Reach out about a discount for a shorter tour to leave you a few hours of resort runs.

Purchase of a ski lift ticket from Whitefish Mountain Resort is required.
