Description

Set out on a private double-decker boat for a relaxed, customizable day on Flathead Lake, one of northwest Montana’s most beautiful natural landmarks. This experience is designed for your group alone and can be tailored to focus on fishing, sightseeing, or a mix of both. This tour is perfect for anglers, families, and anyone who simply wants time on the water.

After meeting your local guide and completing a short safety briefing, you’ll cruise out onto Flathead Lake and settle into the pace that works best for your group. If fishing is the goal, your guide will provide all rods, tackle, and gear and position the boat in productive areas based on current conditions. Common catches include lake trout and lake whitefish, with techniques adjusted throughout the trip to match the season and your experience level. Beginners are welcome, and guides are happy to offer hands-on instruction.

If you’d rather keep things scenic, this trip easily shifts into a laid-back lake cruise. The spacious double-decker layout offers plenty of room to relax, enjoy the views, and take photos. Many guests choose to visit Wild Horse Island, a standout highlight of Flathead Lake known for its wildlife, open landscapes, and quiet shoreline—an ideal stop for sightseeing and stretching your legs.

Throughout the trip, your guide shares local insight about the lake, surrounding mountains, and nearby Glacier National Park region. Water and light snacks are provided, and there’s ample time to slow down, explore different parts of the lake, or simply enjoy being out on the water.

This private Flathead Lake charter is all about flexibility—fish as much or as little as you like, enjoy a scenic cruise, or combine both for a memorable Montana lake experience tailored entirely to your group.
