Frequently Asked Questions
What if we get lost?
Each group will receive a walkie-talkie and a well-marked map that we review with you prior to departure. If you do end up lost, we can send a member of our team to guide you back to the business office. It's recommended to download the Avensa Map prior to your visit.
What are the requirements for operating or riding in a UTV?
UTV drivers must be at least 18 years of age and all drivers must possess a valid driver's license. All ages are welcome to ride as passengers. Children under the age of 12 are required to wear a helmet on the UTV.
Is learning how to drive a UTV beginner friendly?
We have had many beginners rent a vehicle from us, and we’re happy to give you a few pointers. First-time UTV drivers won’t have any trouble learning the ropes — and we offer a quick overview, just in case.
What kind of gear should we wear?
Dress in layers as temperatures may vary at any time of year. You may also want to bring a swimsuit to enjoy the surrounding lakes. Besides this, we rent EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Helmets are included in all rentals.
Do I need to sign a wavier?
Yes, all riders must sign a liability and equipment waiver. A copy will be available during the booking process. This may also be done online prior to arrival. Please bring your driver's license.
