Where should we take the kayaks?
There are many bodies of water on the east side of Glacier Park, we recommend Lower Two Medicine Lake. Open in Google Maps
What is the inspection fee?
Before launching any watercraft within Glacier National Park, it is mandatory to undergo an inspection for aquatic invasive species (AIS) near the boat put in. The purpose of this inspection is to prevent the spread of these harmful non-native species, which can cause significant damage to the native aquatic ecosystems. These inspections help preserve the natural beauty and ecological balance of the park so visitors can fully enjoy their time on the pristine waters of Glacier National Park.
What is the Blackfeet Recreation Permit and where it it required?
This permit is required for any recreating (i.e. hiking, biking, paddling, etc.) around East Glacier, Lower St. Mary's or other lands that are a part of the Blackfeet Lands, outside of the Glacier Park boundary to the east of Glacier Park.
