Starting in East Glacier, you'll be fitted with mountain bikes and safety equipment before setting off on your adventure. As you ride towards the cascading waterfalls, the sheer beauty of the landscape will leave you awestruck. The waterfall itself is a sight to behold, with crystal-clear waters cascading down a series of rocky ledges, creating a mesmerizing display of spray and mist. After taking some time to soak in the beauty, you'll continue towards your next stop.

Embark on the hiking portion (5.6 miles roundtrip) up a trail with lush vegetation and towering trees that provide a natural canopy. Upon reaching your destination, you'll be treated to refreshing pools of glacial water and a delicious lunch. Along the way, your experienced guides will share their expertise and passion for the outdoors with you, including wilderness survival skills and cultural traditions of the Blackfeet people.

Important Information

  • You need to be able to ride 6.6 miles by mountain bike and hike up to 5.6 miles for the waterfall hike.
  • Minimum age is 13. Infants may be accommodated in a bike trailer and hiking backpack
  • No vehicle reservation is needed for you to participate in the tour
  • A Blackfeet Recreation Permit ($20/person) is required for this tour and may be purchased online.

Is lunch included?
Yes, your guide will provide lunch and snacks. If you have food alleriges or dietary restricitons it is recomended to bring your own food. Or let us know with enought of time in advance so you can do our best to accomodate you.
Where does this tour take place?
This tour takes place near East Glacier National Park. The biking begins a couple miles outside of East Glacier and you'll hike to two different wateralls in the Lower Two Medicine Lake area.
Will we have the opportunity to learn about the Blackfeet Nation's culture and traditions?
Yes, this tour is operated by our partner Summit Mountain Guides is 100% Native Owned & Operated with 100% local Blackfeet Mountain Guides who live and adventure in the Rocky Mountain front year round.
What makes this tour so unique?
This tour combines both hiking and biking to incredible destinations near Glacier National Park. Further, it is led by local indigenous guides from the Blackfeet Tribe that have incredible knowledge and history in the area. This park does not enter into the National Park, but has the same beautiful views INTO the park while avoiding the crowds.
What is a Blackfeet Recreation Permit?
This permit is required for all recreational activities within the Blackfeet Nation located outside the boundaries of Glacier National Park. The permit is $20 and must be purchased online before your trip at https://blackfeet.nagfa.net/new-online/
What happens if it rains?
The tour runs rain or shine, but we will adjust the route and activities to ensure everyone's safety and comfort. If weather becomes a true risk factor the tour may be cancelled and refunded or rescheduled.
