Frequently Asked Questions
Can we do wade fishing instead?
If you're picturing something similar to "A River Runs Through It" the truth is that wade fishing just isn't the best way to fish this river. Wade fishing is usually best suited for smaller rivers and streams and the better fishing spots are difficult to access on foot. Local guides are experts at spotting fishing while on the water but if you still wish to consider wade fishing, please contact Glacier Tourbase directly.
What is "driftboat" style fly fishing?
Popular throughout all of Montana driftboat-style fly fishing takes place in a hard-sided driftboat, perfectly crafted for floating the rivers of Montana. Each boat holds 1 guide and up to 2 guests and is comfortable enough with plenty of room to safely fish while standing.
