Interested in an exciting full day of snowmobiling in Whitefish, Montana? With this Guided Full-Day Snowmobile Tour, you'll enjoy a modern and high-quality snowmobile rental in Whitefish to rip through some of the freshest powder and best trails in the mountains of Montana.

In this 8-hour tour, begin by gearing up and getting to know your guide and sled with an important safety briefing. After, you'll hit the trails directly from the shop and begin to climb into the foothills of the Whitefish Range to catch fantastic views of the Salish Mountains, on a clear day you may even see the towering peaks of Glacier National Park in the distance! Frequently Asked Questions

Will we snowmobile in Glacier National Park?
No, snowmobiles are not allowed within the boundaries of Glacier National Park. This trip will take place north of Whitefish near the community of Olney which is about 45 miles from the park.
Is snowmobiling beginner friendly?
Snowmobiling is a fun and exciting way for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors. If this is your first time on a snowmobile we strongly encourage booking a guided experience rather than a rental. An experienced and knowledgeable local guide will make sure to show you the best spots while keeping you safe.
Is lunch included on this snowmobile tour?

You may choose to purchase lunch on-site before leaving for your trip. You will have the option of either a hot or cold lunch consisting of the following:

Hot Lunch - Burger, hot dog, or chili with side salad and chips

Cold Lunch - Ham, turkey, or roast beef sandwich with fruit/veggies, and chips

What kind of snowmobiles do you have?
We partner with the top rental companies around to offer a wide lineup of top-line Polaris snowmobiles and a variety of different models are available for both new and experienced riders. Those interested in more advanced mountain and performance sleds such as Pro RMK 650 or 850 should contact Glacier Tourbase directly.
Can I rent just a single snowmobile?

For safety purposes, each group is required to have two snowmobiles. If you are traveling solo or with 2 people, you must rent at least two snowmobiles unless booking a guided tour.
