The Snowmobiles
This tour includes a two-up/single-rider sled (550 Voyager or 550 Switchback) which allows for one driver and a single passenger. These sleds have a shorter track and are ideal for beginner to moderate riders and sticking to groomed terrain. What kind of snowmobiles do you have?
A variety of snowmobiles are available based on your preference and skill level. We recommend beginners and most riders choose the standard double-rider 550 trail sled. These easy-to-ride sleds are best suited for groomed terrain and designated trails. If you prefer a higher performance or like to spend time in ungroomed terrain, we offer both 650 and 850 mountain sleds. Please contact Glacier Tourbase directly to inquire about additional sleds.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear warm layers or ski gear. However, full gear rentals are available and we offer EVERYTHING you could need. Helmets are included in all rentals.
Can we go off the groomed trails?

Can I rent just a single snowmobile?
For safety purposes, each group is required to have two snowmobiles. If you are traveling solo or with 2 people, you must rent at least two snowmobiles unless booking a guided tour.
