What is the minimum age and weight requirement?
Participants must be at least 6 years old and weigh between 50 and 250 pounds. All participants must be between 3'6" and 7' tall to fit safely into the harnesses. Anyone outside these limits is welcome to walk along regardless of age or weight.
What if I get scared?
A Zipline Canopy Tour tests your fear of heights and your trust in the guides. The tour begins with flight school to get you comfortable in your harness. If you are uncomfortable or scared, check in with your guide before moving on to the main zipline course. There is no refund if an individual or group decides not to go right before the tour begins.
What should I wear while zip lining?
Closed-toed shoes are required. Skirts and dresses are not recommended. We suggest longer shorts, capris, or pants. Avoid loose items that could fall during the tour. We have a limited number of rental shoes available but cannot guarantee your size.
What happens if it is raining?
Glacier Zipline tours go out rain or shine. If rain is in the forecast, bring a rain jacket. We only cancel for lightning or extremely high winds, in which case you would receive a full refund if you cannot be rebooked to a better time.
Is ziplining safe?
Yes, safety is a top priority. All equipment is regularly inspected, and trained guides ensure all safety protocols are followed so you feel as safe and comfortable as possible throughout your adventure.
Where is the zipline located and how do I get there?
Glacier Zipline is located in Columbia Falls, Montana, along Highway 2 between West Glacier and the town of Columbia Falls. The base camp is about a 10-minute drive from the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park.
How long does the zipline tour last?
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours from start to finish. Duration may vary slightly based on group size and pace.
