Height, Bike Details & More

  • Height - The foldable ebike is perfect for those that are 4'11" to 5'7". Taller folks can ride them as well, but we might suggest one of the full frame electric bike rentals if you are 5'8" and above.
  • Bikes - These bikes have front suspension and can reach speeds up to 25 mph with a range of 15-25 miles depending on use of the pedal assist.
  • Vehicle Entry - This year, you can use your bike rental voucher as your vehicle reservation entry for the day. You will still need to buy the standard entry ticket into Glacier, but you do not need the vehicle reservation that is typically required from late May to early September to get into the park.

Absolutely! There are many trails to ride nearby West Glacier. We also highly recommend riding past the Fish Creek campground and out onto the inside North Fork Road for a fun, off-the-beaten path experience. To get to the Avalanch Lake Trailhead to ride the Going to The Sun Road you'll need to transport bikes from Apgar there by vehicle.
When can I bike on Going-to-the-sun Road?
The Going-to-the-sun Road is most commonly biked from April to mid-June when there is no vehicle traffic and bikers and hikers have the road to themselves. During peak season, from June 15th to Labor day, bikes are limited on Going-to-the-sun and a number of other roads near West Glacier from 11 AM to 4 PM. No, you do not need a ticketed entry pass to RIDE into Glacier. Note that you will need to pay a **fee** for entrance by bicycle if you don't have a Park pass.
