Description

Discover the alpine magic of Glacier National Park in a relaxing yet exciting half-day adventure. Ride in comfort as local Blackfeet guides share stories and legends that breathe life into the dramatic peaks around you. From tranquil lakes to towering cliffs, every turn of the road offers a new perspective.

If you're short on time but still want to experience the crown jewel of Glacier National Park, this half-day tour delivers unforgettable mountain vistas, serene lakes, and cultural storytelling—all in just four hours. Only available to book on Tuesdays & Thursdays, this scenic tour travels along the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road with a Blackfeet guide who brings deep-rooted history and personal stories to life as you travel through the park’s most iconic landscapes.

Your journey begins at the Apgar Visitor Center, where you'll board an air-conditioned mini-bus and head east along the shores of Lake McDonald. As the road begins to gain elevation, the impressive scenery comes into better focus. Towering peaks, rushing waterfalls, and sweeping overlooks appear around every turn. The tour makes several short scenic stops—perfect for stretching your legs and capturing stunning photos of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

At Logan Pass, the highest point on the road and a highlight of any visit to Glacier, you’ll have time to explore the visitor center and take in breathtaking views from the top of the Continental Divide. This extended pause offers a moment to truly appreciate and connect with the wild beauty and vast scale of the park.

Throughout the tour, your guide shares insights into the land’s significance to the Blackfeet Nation, weaving in stories of tradition, family, and resilience. This tour offers much more than just traditional sightseeing—it’s a cultural exploration into the heart of Montana’s wilderness.

Whether you're visiting Glacier for the first time or returning for another glimpse of its magic, this tour is the perfect way to see a spectacular slice of the park—without the stress of driving or navigating!

Yes, every group will need a Glacier National Park Site Pass. You can purchase your pass online at recreation.gov.
