Are you ready for our all-women's backpacking adventure near Glacier National Park? If you're on the fence, the answer is probably "hell yes". Whether you're a backpacking beginner eager to learn the ropes or an experienced hiker seeking camaraderie in the wilderness, this trip is tailored just for you.
This trip is led by female guides that love the outdoors and helping other women experience Montana and build lasting relationships.
Over three exhilarating days, we'll explore the breathtaking beauty of the Montana mountains, taking in the serene alpine landscapes in the Swan Mountain range near Whitefish and Glacier National Park. All your gear, guiding and food is taken care of and you get to show up physically and emotionally to have a great time in a small group of fellow adventurers (8 max).
Our adventure kicks off with a scenic hike through the lush conifer woodlands, where you'll get hands-on experience with essential backpacking skills like gear setup and map reading. As we set up camp near Doris Peak, you'll have the chance to bond with fellow backpackers, indulge in optional guided activities like stretching, journaling, and meditation, and enjoy a hearty dinner by the campfire.
Day two brings more excitement as we journey to Jenny Lake. Start your morning with some invigorating guided stretching and a delicious breakfast before breaking camp. You can choose to hike the full 8 miles to Jenny Lake or opt for a more leisurely day at the campsite or on a shorter guided hike. Regardless of your choice, we'll all reconvene for some relaxation and reflection at the end of the day.
On our final day, we'll savor our last moments in the wilderness with morning swims and a leisurely pack-up before heading back to civilization. Celebrate your achievements with some well-deserved cool drinks and bid farewell to your newfound friends.
